虽然到了现在,能唤起人们对The Turtles的回忆的就只有他们1967年的那首”Happy Toegether”,但在60年代的美国这确实是一支很不错的乐队,以乡村摇滚出名.乐队1963年建于Los Angeles,The Turtles当时乐队成员都还是中学生,乐队名是Crossfires,在当地的disc和俱乐部中混出了名气.1965年,在签约White Whale唱片公司后改名为The Turtles,并翻唱Dylan的歌曲作为他们的第一首单曲.接着歌曲”Mr.Tambourine Man”到达音乐榜榜首.1967年的”Happy Together”在榜首停留了3周,成为当年美国乐坛的年度金曲，这首歌也多次出现在不同的电影中，在王家 卫的《春光乍泄》是片尾曲，当然这部片的英译名也叫《happy together》，在《东成西就2011》中作为插曲，活跃电影的气氛，歌曲讲述了一个一对青年男女的故事，男子深爱着自己的姑 娘，所以无论什么时候都会很想念他的女孩，都会让他高兴，或许这就是爱情独有的力量，让人为之痴迷，为之疯狂，所以这也是一首很值得回味的歌曲，值得你用一杯咖啡的时间，或者早上上班坐地铁的时候用来开启新一天的生活，想想你和你的她（他）在一起的片段。
